Brief Description We are conducting a survey and interviews of telemedicine professionals (including technical staff and secretaries/coordinators) in Japan and the Philippines. The purpose is to determine which aspects of their work they perceive as challenges by professional attribute. Specifically, we would like to identify which level of policy, organization, or daily operations is the most significant challenge for the three professional attributes involved in telemedicine. At this point, the survey and interviews have been completed only in Japan. Therefore, the first half of this session will present and discuss the results of the survey in Japan. In the second half, participants will break into breakout rooms to discuss issues individually.

The first half: The results of the survey in Japan
(1) present the results of the survey in Japan
(2) examine and discuss the results
(3) Q&A

The Second half: Workshop by breakout room
(4) identify issues and solutions for conducting the survey in the Philippines
